Make a Cell Cycle!
Instructions:
- Collect 2 pieces of paper
- Punch a hole in the center of both and place a brass fastnr through the middle
- The top piece will need to be cut in the shape of a pie
- The bottom should be in the shape of a square with a circle drawn in the middle
- Divide into sections the same as the picture below
- In each section, the student should describe the events that take place, in the right order, clearly marking restriction points, checkpoints and various requirements for a cell to continue on to the next phase.
- Then attach the top piece on to the bottom board with the brass fastener
Now the top piece will spin around and reveal the processes of the cell cycle
